Weekend continues with the Girls!

GIRLS WEEKEND IN WILMINGTON! Samantha was the hostess for the weekend. We were planning on going down on Saturday but Peggy decided she needed more time. So I drove (after kissing Tom) down to Wilmington. Samantha decided to stay with us in the motel and Peggy had gone all out with flowers and plenty of snacks. Saturday was a shopping or maybe looking day with lunch at "The Oceanic" at Wrightsville Beach. The weather outside was perfect. However the wind was a bit much on the beach thus very cool. We enjoyed watching the Kite Surfers while enjoying lunch.

Later in the afternoon we headed over to visit Desi and Charlie and as always she was so happy to have us over. We all left with great gifts of pottery gifts made by Desi. On Sunday morning I attended church with Samantha, where she volunteers in the childcare area. The church seats 1500 and had a great band playing music. Certainly was not St. Mark. After church we had lunch at Samantha's favorite spot "Flaming Amy's Burrito Barn" with several of her friends, Peggy and Morgan. Finally it was time to head home by way of Ktown to pick up mom and headed to Cary to visit and have dinner with Maria, Brandon, Greg and the good cook herself Eva. Hope everyone has a good week.
