Senior Week

Last week was Senior Week, the week between the end of exams and the beginning of Commencement activities. Everybody else has left campus, and it's just us seniors around. Much of the time is spent relaxing with friends, and there are daily events that serve as nice background for sharing memories and the last days on campus.

Some highlights include:

Moonlight Cruise
A 3-hour night cruise of Boston Harbor...hang out with friends while checking out the sites of Boston.

Last Chance Dance (thanks Aunt Connie!)
A dance in honor of Uncle Craig's birthday. Harvard rented out a club in Boston, and ~600 students poured in to listen to some music, dance, and enjoy time together.

Senior Soiree (thanks Uncle Craig/Aunt Peggy!)
A last formal dance Holly and I attended. The soiree was held in a tent in the center of campus, complete with ice sculptures, hors d'oeuvres, and - of course - dancing.

Biking the River (thanks Maria!)
Maria took Holly and me for a two-hour bike ride along the river to join the hundreds of people who enjoy the sites of Boston next to the water's tranquility...and then to Christina's for some ice cream!

[okay, that's not actually a photo from the bike ride...but it is from a walk along the river a week earlier]

Grandmama, I did not get my invitation to the Senoir Week! I too am happy that Travis is having fun, so well deserved.
