Eva would be proud!

I am taking a beginner's cooking class that meets every Tuesday evening for 6 weeks. Today was session #3 and my team of two was responsible for appetizer and dessert. For dessert, I made puff pastry and pear tarte tatin! It even flipped out of the pan with no trouble (but cast iron is heavy!).  

I'm not sure I can reproduce it solo, yet, but here's the proof!
