"Thats Touche!"

You know how sometimes you laugh so hard your stomach hurts and you can barely breathe? That is what my life consists of now.. laughing that is. The four of us girls have loved living together so far and have fun 24/7 (literally). I am the housekeeper of the group and am learning to let them do the dishes as well as trust the dishwasher. Lauren is keeping us well fed so we don't go hungry while Jillian (a nursing major) is making sure we don't get "the swine" that has been going around campus. Rachel is our in home therapist and has even added a comfy chair to her room/office. Classes are off to a great start and today I will begin my service learning at an agency called Child Advocacy and Parenting Place (CAPP). I will be working with two other girls to lead a group of 5-9 year olds who have come from abusive families. Most of the children within the agency are living with their grandparents because their parents were unable to give proper care. I have had butterflies all day but I am mostly excited to meet all of the children that will be in my group as well as get to know the rest of the volunteers. I miss you all very much, please remember you are always welcome to come visit any time you like!
