I decided to switch to Bangladesh time a day early (i.e. I am staying up late). Amazing how much time details can take. And how waiting music seems to never change or improve!
I posted my pictures from Colombia here. I think I convincingly look like I had fun :)
I leave tomorrow morning for Bangladesh. I have many fun things to take with me--season 1 of glee, a book on NC, a list of ice cream parlors in Dhaka, 3 pairs of flip flops, and a lot of chocolate (mainly to give away).
I should have fairly regular internet connection while I'm away. I use skype frequently (maria dot may dot 523) and just set up a phone number as well: 347.480.2011. If I"m not online when you call (the time difference is 11 hours), then there is a voicemail box as well, so it works just like a regular phone. Technology is really amazing. Email and blog posts obviously work as well.
