Het we are your parents, we have to call & sing. The others did it purely out of love.
Oh yeah, reread it & notice that purely modifies the verb in such a way that we could still love you AND sing. Even with my musical ability, those are not mutually exclusive.
Not just my roommates - but a group of 15 or so friends with me in Cape Cod...
The melody of all versions of happy birthday was preformed by, Aunt Connie, Samantha, Morgan, Stephen and Ethan on the way to the Fossil Festival Parade. We finally had cell phone service. And YES! You are loved!
I will not mention how pretty the weather was.
